My First Reflection is the larger of the two pieces and comes with a mirror and three small drawers where all pearls and jewels can be hidden - a true place for treasures and secrets. Great attention has been paid to the details in the design and the curious ones will soon find out that "My First Reflection" in fact does not only have three drawers - but four. At the back of the base under the mirror, a fourth, small secret drawer have been placed. Also unexpected and at the back of the mirror, the gold text "Be unique" has been printed with what appears to be hand writing.

It is built around my strong and continuous relationship with the cross symbol. I thought it was an interesting challenge to use this sign in a piece of beautiful, functional furniture with a classic and contemporary feeling. I chose the craft wear fabric combined with the recycled aluminium in order to fulfill my vision of the Kloss chair.

A fusion of Scandinavian design excellence.
Electrolux has always been inspired by its Scandinavian heritage. Now an innovative collaboration between the company and leading Swedish designer Pia Wallén has created a remarkable special edition of one of its most successful products.
Electrolux invited Wallén to produce her own interpretation of the Ultrasilencer, one of the world's quietest vacuum cleaners. The result is startling in its simplicity.
Colour inspired by sound.
Best-known for her felt slippers and 'Crux' blanket, Pia Wallén uses traditional Swedish materials and techniques in new ways. Functionality, simplicity and the contemporary interpretation of traditional Scandinavian crafts are themes that run through her work.
With the Ultrasilencer, she found inspiration in the extraordinary quietness of the cleaner. It reminded her of the most beautiful sound she knows - the sound of falling snow.
The story of snow white.
The result? An Ultrasilencer that is as easy on the eyes as it is the ears. Totally white, the design is boldly unconventional and as fresh as a layer of Scandinavian snow. But in Pia Wallén's work, there is always a touch of humour. Flashes of bright orange on some of the machine's functions echo the colour of guide poles that are used to mark pathways through the wintery Swedish landscape.
Like all great ideas, this special edition Ultrasilencer is deceptively simple. It blurs the line between art and appliance.
